Solar Panel Installation (PV/Photovoltaic Panels)

Solar Panel Installation (PV/Photovoltaic Panels)Bright Green Renewables are MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) accredited installers of solar panels, also known as Solar PV or Photovoltaic panels, across the Midlands including Daventry, Rugby, Coventry, Northampton, Towcester, Leamington Spa, Towcester, Warwick and Leicester.

Solar Photovoltaic Panels By installing solar panels you will benefit from:

  • Up to 100% of your daylight electricity consumption provided by the PV panels
  • Export Tariff Payments; any unused solar electricity is exported back to the Grid for which you will also be paid.
  • Feed-In Tariff (FiT): quarterly, index-linked and tax-free payments for 20 years, based upon the amount of energy your panels produce, regardless of how much of that power you consume yourself.

The FiT payments are designed to repay the cost of your investment, which at current rates will take around 8-10 years. Over the 20 year lifetime of the Feed-In Tariff scheme you are likely to receive a healthy return on your investment.

Sounds too good to be true? It isn't... Installing solar panels is perhaps the best safe investment a homeowner in the UK can make at present.

Can they be installed on my house?

Solar panels can be installed on most roofs without planning permission. The best returns are achieved from roofs facing between South East and South West.

A typical southerly aspect 4kW solar PV installation on a 3-4 bedroom house will cost around £5,000 to £7,000 fully installed. This will be paid back in around 8-10 years based on current feed-in tariff rates.

Bright Green Renewables will survey the installation site and propose the optimum size, number and orientation of the panels to achieve the optimum performance at the most cost effective price. Annual revenue projections will also be provided.

Battery storage systems can be used to store surplus energy for use when the system isn't generating, e.g. during the night.

Feed-In Tariff rates

Once registered you will remain on the same FiT rate for the full 20 year duration of the scheme. This will rise annually in line with the Retail Price Index (RPI).

Battery Storage

Air Conditioning Installer Consumers are enjoying the financial and environmental benefits of Solar PV and numbers are growing all the time, but do you know the next steps to use even more FREE energy?

Solar PV Panels

Domestic and commercial Solar PhotoVoltaic (PV) systems have been around for a while now and work extremely well, even in our temperate UK climate.

Using ALL of the generated power has always been a desire, but up until recently, this was very difficult to achieve.

APPLICATION

One of the most often asked questions we, as PV installers, would be asked is “Can I store the surplus Solar energy to be used at night?” In the early days, the answer was “No, sorry!”. However technology has moved on and prices have come down. Therefore it IS now possible to install a Battery Storage System to most solar PV installations, which makes full use of the free, zero-carbon electricity you produce every day.

Connecting to an existing PV array, surplus energy will be sent to the batteries during the day, when the PV system is generating. This energy is then released when it is needed, usually during the evening and night-time, seamlessly.

Battery Storage Systems do not affect the payments you receive – the generated electricity is still sent through your existing Generation Meter and the Feed-in-Tariff will still be paid in the same way. The deemed Export payments will also remain unaffected.

INSTALLATION

Daikin Altherma Air Source Heat Pump - exploded view There is now a wide range of Self-Consumption Battery Storage Systems from many, well known PV manufacturers and they are the ideal way to use every last kW of Solar PV energy you produce. Therefore almost nothing is exported back into the Grid.

You will benefit from using your free stored energy during the night and help to reduce your electricity bill even further.
